Still Flowering

It took me three attempts to get through the door for a bike ride this morning. First attempt short sleeves and shorts.....too cold. Second attempt long sleeves and shorts....still felt chilly. Third attempts long sleeves, Gilet and shorts...good to go. An enjoyable if hilly bike ride up on t’moors. 

This afternoon a visit to a slightly quieter Dalby. Did a walk away from the usual waymarked paths. Stopped by a forestry worker who was concerned that we were lost. Assured him we knew where we were.....didn’t let on I have been visiting the area for over forty years!

Spotted this Field Scabious still showing signs of life. It added a touch of colour to our walk.

Richard had booked his flu vaccination a while back and this led me to consider getting one. Even though I haven’t yet hit the age group target my birthday is before March 2021 and so I was eligible for one this year. Worth looking if you too fall into this category.
