Cat on a Wall

I don't often get the opportunity to blip cats as so often they are so wary that as soon as I point the camera at them they take off.  This delightful feline however was happy to pose but only for as long as it took for it to weigh the situation up and then (you guessed it) take off. :-).  Still, I captured those beautiful green eyes and enjoyed a one sided conversation with it.  Joanne has recently lost both her cats (two months apart actually). one was 17 years old and the other   -  an adoptee was about 14 years old.  They were ill and ageing and although the vet tried to keep them going it was obvious both were suffering;  Jo has always had cats but at the moment the loss is still too raw for her to think about having another one.
