Golden day's

Today is our Golden Wedding Anniversary. I can't believe how fast those years have gone. We got married on  Thursday September 10th 1970, at 12 o'clock. We  went down  to the church this morning and stood on the steps, (the church was closed) and repeated our vows to one another. I would have liked a photo of us standing together, but J hates having his photo taking, although he did agree, reluctantly, for me to put a photo of him in as an extra. We then drove to the Plough & Harrow in Macross for a meal. We are not used to eating our main meal at lunchtime, but we both cleared our plates. We called back in Waitrose for some snacks to go with the champagne we will be having later. A low key day maybe, but just what we wanted, and that is all that matters.
