Rote straße sieben
Can you see the German road sign painted on the building in the left foreground? It has been re-painted but it is exactly where there was a painted sign during the occupation by the Germans.
They found navigating our roads impossible so
designated three routes; one north/south, one east/west and one circular around the coast.
When I was young there were many that I passed daily on my walk to town. These were all for the yellow route. There are still a few traces around that you can pick out if you know where to look.
