2020 Monday — FaceTime with RJ

When my iPhone sounds that a FaceTime with RJ is arriving, I usually get a little wild and crazy with excitement and then our pups get all riled-up and then Mr. Fun comes over to the little sofa where I’m sitting and for the next while of time we have fun watching RJ and talking with his mom, who is our oldest grandchild.

Today we watched and talked for over an hour as RJ played and played. We kidded Ash that she has an addiction to Amazon and their toy department. We asked if she is on a first name basis with the Amazon driver and told her that they would probably be sending her a birthday card.

The latest new toy item is an indoor slide. RJ was having a blast climbing up and sliding down. We were having lots of fun watching.

This has been a leisure Labor Day Monday. Late afternoon we drove to the Bluffs Park which is above the back bay, but with a beautiful view of the water and boats.

Then we stopped at a favorite Mexican restaurant, Mi Casa, for our last dinner on the Central Coast before returning tomorrow to SoCal.
