Gullane Bents

A stiff breeze for wind and kite surfers today. We scoured the bramble patches on the cliff top and admired the prolific buckthorn growth. We met a pro buckthorn gatherer who was extolling its super food status. The professional dog walkers with their sad unloved pack of dogs “who won’t hurt you” as they barked and yelped at our feet were the only negative aspect of our bracing seaside ramble.
