Anni Mamundi

What's in a name?...

.... II have always referred to this plant as sedum. (Whether pronounced 'seddum', or 'seedum', I have never been sure).
I love the Autumn, when the flowers begin to peep through and bring the garden to life again, in its Winter garb.

However, Himself tells me (because he is Up To Speed with such matters) that the name is no longer 'sedum'. (Like the artist formerly known as Prince), this plant is now known as 'Hylotelephium'.

Hmm.
I shall still call it 'sedum'.

I know.
I can hear the Old Person in my own voice there.
'These new fangled ideas...'
What can you do Gladys?

Anyway, the sun obligingly shone upon it, and two (different kinds of) bees landed together and busied there upon.

In other news I drove a long way today (and Motorwayed, for the first time since the 'new' car. The girl's still got it! Thank goodness).
