Unusual day today. First day in the office for 6 months or so. I didn’t stay too long but it was great to catch up with the few who were working from the office today. There are screens, and hand wash, and spaced out workspaces, notices and warnings and smiling faces. And today I handed in my notice at work. 

My role is to advise and to show good practice. I spend much of my time in front of groups of people, sometimes just a few, sometimes hundreds, but in these COVID times those days seem a long time ago and a long time from coming back. So it’s time for something new. The last 12 years have been fantastic. It’s been such a privilege to meet so many remarkable people doing so many remarkable things .... I’ve learned so much. 

And now for something new, something different. I’m just not yet sure what that might be. Slightly nervous, very excited, hugely hopeful.
