Mam's goodbye

I've arrived in Manchester. The funeral is tomorrow.
Other 'issues' mean for the first time ever I am not staying with my mam instead I'm staying with my sister.
My mam's partner vented his unwelcome vitriol at Christmas and as this is the 2nd time he has done this I'm of the opinion that I won't sleep under any roof he is sleeping under.
Mam's upset. I'm not happy and sad my mam's upset but such is life.
My mam wrote this, with her stroke affected left hand. She's an amazingly strong woman but says she will be unable to read this during tomorrow's service.
My sister and I will be reading on her behalf.
I know I promised people this week but I needed to record this heartfelt hand written page.
