Building our defence

A busy day as we are building a fruit cage as we have had a season of squirrel and badger attacks on our soft fruit. The most significant moment was watching a squirrel sitting on the trellis munching a strawberry.

Fortunately the weather has been kind, warm and dry. Still lots to do but the basic structure is in place. Gardening is a demanding hobby.
