Peony Seed Head

It’s that time of year when the flowers start to die back and we need to do some pruning or cutting back. I have some bulbs to plant ..... on my ‘to do’ list for next week.

Seed heads can be very beautiful in their own right .... poppies, acquilegia, nigella and my blip for today the peony .... all very different, the common feature being a shade of brown.
