Fika

This morning I met up with a friend - fellow blipper, Carey20August - for a long coffee session. It was lovely, sitting outside in the Upper High Street talking, talking, talking.  Okay, we didn't have cake, but I reckon this Abbey Gardens squirrel, seen earlier, already fulfilled that part of the fika equation for us.  I caught her sitting on a bench stuffing in a horse chestnut (yes, the squirrel, not Carey).

One of the things that absolutely astonishes me is the number of people wandering around the city centre.  They say London is empty, ditto Southampton, but Winchester apparently has discarded any sense of covid-wariness.  Hey ho!
