Dahlias

I was finally rewarded by coming home to these very tardy dahlias. Clare who gave me the plant was at lunch with us and challenged them to bloom by pulling all the growing shoots off and I thought well, that’s that   But she was right and finally I am rewarded.  A bit weedy but flowers!   And the Worcester’s are ready to eat.  

Back to work today, starting to talk promos and launches and screenings. Well, zoom screenings.  Talked to Rory who started filming yesterday and it was interesting to hear about the new protocols on set.  Bit depressed by the new cases in the news though and not being able to gather in groups of more than six....
