The very first ...

... Butterfly of the season.  It's an Australian Admiral (Vanessa itea - such a lovely name), which always fly very early, and then disappear for the rest of the year.

Judging by the number of pollinators on my d'Agen prune tree, I reckon we are going to get a good crop for the first time in years.  Always assuming we get it netted before the birds get the fruit.

I'll get the Rower intro it as soon as the blossom has faded.
