Sunset Clouds

Well, the rain held off all day giving us another fine day and warm temperatures until early evening when clouds began to build. Weak sunshine illuminated the upper sky and back lit clouds lead to some interesting patterns.

I worked again with blending exposures, although there's not much of a transition from light sky to dark trees. This time I used a third frame to for the sun to avoid it burning out. I think the trees and reeds look much improved than when working from a single exposure.

I only saw the flight of birds in the upper right when I came to edit the image later. A nice addition.
