Goldie Boathouse

Had to go across town today and spent some time on Midsummer Common waiting for a change to my glasses to be completed. There were quite a lot of houseboats tied up opposite the boathouses. I settled down to read while I was waiting, and then started looking at the boathouses opposite .. suddenly realised the one directly opposite was the Goldie Boathouse - this is the one where the Cambridge Eight is kept - the one used in the Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race in the Thames is used!
