The View from the culture centre, Bildmuseet.

After lunch we headed into town to visit the Bildmuseet, part of Umeå University and a venue for international art exhibits. The art was interesting and thoughtful but on a day like this the views and the windows were absolutely the most photogenic subject.
Given a choice for my blip of an image from the great outdoors (see extra), or a picture from inside a building there would usually be only one possibility, but today I felt forced to break my habit and make this shot from the staircase my main blip.
The extra was taken in the morning as I paddled round the largest island in the Umeå river delta. It was an interesting and lovely paddle in the warm sun.
