Path to the Susanfe Hut

It is about 20 years since I went to this (extra) old hut built in 1932, one of the Dents du Midi huts. We made good time so decided to go to the Susanfe Col, and once there, Dédé decided to phone his brothers to see if either of them could pick us up from the other side of the mountain, which one of them could. So we ended up on the other side of the Dents du Midi (second extra near Salanfe hut) 8 hours after starting our walk, quite tired but very happy having completed a traverse that we had not set out to do! Of course it meant no nap, a quick bath, and out for dinner at friends who we haven’t seen for some time. I finally wilted at about 10pm, hence the late blip. Goodnight!
