Double-hammock

Bean wanted Foxy to go on his back. Daddy's scarf is just long enough for a double-hammock tied under bum ;)

Bean told me a pretty cool tale on the way to tots this morning (we were late so were going to drive, got in the car, car battery dead!! So we ended up walking anyway).

"Look mummy!" pointing at a dent, a cracking, in the pavement. "That's where a monster sat! A sea-monster!" A while back I'd said something flippant about cracks in the road being made by stomping monsters....

He went out one night, by himself, and I waved bye bye to him. He went down to the beach and saw a sea monster! It was white and green and yellow - and purple! It had a long neck, like Apatosaurus and Anchisaurus, but it had flippers too. It said hello to him! It would have eaten me, but it thought Bean was a sea-monster too so it said hello. Bean took Bear out with him, wrapped on his back.

When we got back from tots he drew a picture of the sea-monster to send to one of his friends :)

This morning's craft went well, thank goodness! I'll blog it once I've got my pictures together but it's totally one of the Imagination Tree's valentines crafts! Now we're over in the New Forest for a couple of days. I'd better dig out my pens and finish some bits off while we're here...
