My Feet Begin To Crumble

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellows,

We have a herb pot! A planter with herbs in it!

Actually, that does not warrant an exclamation mark. We've had it for ages. But today's picture is of the tiny, hairy, hairy, thyme flowers which grow in there.

I spent a bit of time in the garden today. It's fun to be out there with the lads, and they seem to like the company.

In EXCITING NEWS WHICH HAPPENED TO OTHER PEOPLE, our friend Macca was in a Zoom meeting today. Which is not very interesting. But then Jacinda joined in! This was very exciting for Macca as she didn't know the PM had been invited, but on the negative side, it meant she had to stop swearing.

(Macca works with low-income families, especially those at risk from domestic abuse).

It's easy to become cynical about politics, especially because CERTAIN EFFING POLITICIANS encourage that feeling of "oh, they're ALL corrupt, they ALL lie!" because that then gives them a licence to be corrupt and to lie. But this sort of thing - not a photo-op or a publicity grab - impressed me.

Incidentally, today's title refers to the song "Concrete and Clay" by Unit Four + Two. It was running through my head as I walked around the garden taking pictures for some reason. And I'm quite sure that, like me, you didn't know the actual title of the song without looking it up because it was just "My Feet Begin To Crumble". Of course it was.
