......... a baby Goldfinch ...... trying to decide whether to hop on a nearby feeder or not :-)

Mum phoned me just after 11am this morning all in a dither telling me a story about an earthquake in the nearest town about 5 miles away ....... she’s prone to telling me wacky stories so I didn’t really believe her but I didn’t argue, I just played along.
She did sound quite convinced so after the call I checked out the internet and lo and behold there had indeed been a small earthquake in that town ...... first time that has ever happened to my knowledge!! I was gobsmacked ........ I’m quite glad I didn’t argue with her this time ....... that would have been quite a high horse to climb down from to eat my humble pie, lol ;-)))
