Another first

A session of babysitting - over an hour long too! Here I am reading how if little Rosie goes to school and mixes with other children she’ll get the covid and bring it home and kill Grandpa! So no school for you, little Rosie, but don’t worry because Grandpa knows everything that’s worth knowing! That’s lucky, isn’t it. 
Later, more children’s entertainment - Pinocchio at Ocean Terminal by Matteo Garrone. I’d loved his Tale of Tales, and Dogman even much more so but this doesn’t quite hit the heights, probably because it’s pretty faithful to the original. I gather parents have taken kids along to the cinema in the belief it’s a nice tale about a wooden boy. It is of course, a lot darker than that, but this Grandpa says it really could be a whole lot darker. Couldn’t it, Rosie?
