Ivinghoe Beacon

With Pitstone Windmill in the foreground, the snow covered Ivinghoe Beacon dominating the rear I reckon it would be hard to guess the country. But here it is, the beginning of the beautiful Chiltern Hills.

Mind you, the absence of any other than the flat grey light that appears to have moved in for the winter does make it difficult to bring out the best of this wonderful landscape. Fun trying, though.
