On the road, on the busy road
On the road, on the busy road

There's a double decker bus and a speeding car
And a crazy biker who won't get far

They're on the road, on the busy road

There are children playing and an ice cream van
When they heard the music playing the children all ran

On the road, on the busy road
On the road, on the busy road

The speeding car driver screeched to halt
It could have been nasty but who's at fault?
