Pissin it down

In Manchester, it said there were nice big suns. In Chamonix valley it was pissing it down. I took it as a nice excuse to put on the elephant boots + take to the forest to plunge in slushy puddles of dissolving cross country tracks + play about with a GoPro camera I'd kindly been lent. I lost the light at some point between elating in an invigorating soaking + taking a load of shaky footage, so I bought an armful of courgettes to make steaming soup + trudged back eagerly to tuck into a Breaking Bad ladened cozy bed with my boy [+ that hot steaming courgette heavy soup].
