....or as it’s commonly known, a lift bridge. This is Bridge 7 on the Leigh Branch of the Leeds Liverpool Canal at Plank Lane. We enjoyed a very pleasant walk in surprisingly warm weather to Pennington Flash in Leigh by following this towpath.
