A Bit Of A Scare

Yesterday teatime daughter A took 4 year old grandson H to the doctors.

H had a high temperature - headache - earache - and a rash.

They were told to go straight to Airedale General Hospital - suspected meningitis - and kept in overnight

Tests revealed it was more likely to be a bacterial infection.

They arrived back home at lunchtime today - H bearing a cannula on his right hand - through which antibiotics are being administered - but has to return to hospital this evening for another dose.

H is on the mend - and has racked up quite a number of treats for his bravery during the tests
