Reid Park Aqueduct
I'm standing in the middle of this bridge over Reid Park in Mosman.
I had to drive my brother to an appointment and filled in an hour waiting for him, wandering around old haunts.
The aqueduct was completed in 1901 and is shown in the extra, for engineers, and others who might be interested.
It is heritage listed and described as 'a magnificent piece of Federation era engineering constructed from imported steel'.
It carries a lot of posh Mosman sewage.
Reid Park was originally a tidal bay and was filled in about the same time.
