My latest harvest

A poor fig harvest this year. Actually I missed another three a week ago and they were too ripe to eat.
I will enjoy these 3 anyway.

Interesting trip this morning.....Jack needed another blood test as his knee is troubling him again. Instead of going to the surgery we had to go to a mobile blood test centre set up in a North Cambridge Park and Ride car park. It is to take the pressure off doctors' surgeries and Addenbrookes Hospital. Interesting that we were there at 11.30am, there were 5 bays in the centre and they were all empty. The nurse told us they had been in the car park for 3 weeks but it was short term until the weather gets cold or wet as it would in many cases make it difficult to take the blood! So what's going on?
