Trees at the top of the hill
There was a beautiful red moon rising late last night, I saw it too late to try and photograph but it looked great. This morning started fairly sunny and I headed to the gym for a sprint cycle class. After lunch my husband and I thought about going for a short walk but by then it was drizzling. Fortunately it didn't last too long and we headed off for a short walk around the River Otter. It was still fairly warm and the green vegetation full of raindrops as we walked along the valley. At one point we scared off a heron. Crossing over the footbridge we walked back above the river and came to this point in the path where these Scots Pines come into view. They are located high on the top of a hill in fact just over the top of the hill and I took this photo from under looking upwards. I can also spot a bird flying over the top of the trees. For Mono Monday with its theme of over and under hosted by BlackTulip.
On another note our son was in discussion with his employer who have agreed that there is no need for him to return to the office in London for the time being. They have started asking if people were willing to return two days a week. When he does return he will have to find somewhere to live so he is reluctant to do so until he can see how working arrangements will play out. Given the recent rise in daily Coronavirus cases detected anything is possible.
