A proud day

I had the morning off work today for L’s first day at “Big School”. What a milestone!

She looks so smart in her new uniform and skipped along the road to school, ready to make new friends, have fun and learn lots. I had a little moment when I’d released her into her teacher’s care.

Two and a half hours later and day one was done! Her teacher said she had a few tearful moments which we eventually worked out had something to do with the noise in the classroom. It’s been six months since L was at nursery so it’s hardly surprising she found it noisy.

She had a lovely time, all in all, and is excited to do it all again tomorrow.
