A busy day at work with no opportunities to take photographs, so a quick wander round the garden when I got home and here are some of the abundance of acorns on one of the oak trees.     I've not seen so many on it before, it should keep the larders of the Jays and Squirrels filled up, along with the walnuts and hazelnuts too.    The other oak tree doesn't have any on at all, so strange how the same species within 50 yards of each other can be so different.
