Village centre

A church has stood at the cross roads in the village since Saxon times, and although there is not a lot of the Saxon part in evidence the church building is a hotch potch of every period since. The churchyard is a quiet sanctuary looking out at the busy village beyond.

I was in the village for a hair appointment and the hour long chat with my hairdresser is always a tonic.
