MAGNIFICENT

That’s what the views were today as we took the coast road from Kalamata to Gytheio about a 2 hour drive (+photo stops and brunch)
#view back across Kalamata bay.
#a very picturesque fishing port Kamdamyli (which would definitely do an over night at next time)
#view across another stunning bay
#brunch stop at a mountain village (Oitylo) no menu, point/gesture and hope....ok fried eggs and salad perfect!!!
#stopped for a few hours at Skoutari Beach...another revisit necessary another year. Great taverna on the beach...clear water.
It was 3:00 and we still hadn’t played hotel gamble for TONIGHT!!!
#the hotel is simple but in a perfect location on the harbour of a beautiful port. Tempted to stay another night. Only €55!!!
#we visited the local beach once we’d checked in...ok but a lovely evening stroll and a fish platter just completed the day.
