Boomerang Ring

The ring that I regularly lose... but somehow it always finds it's way home to me.

Sometimes it takes weeks or months. The last time I lost this was mid-December. I put out ads at work, offered rewards, checked Lost Property until I drove them mad, knowing that this ring always comes back to me. But nothing.... and I was starting to think it may be final this time.

Yesterday, I got out a box of dressing up clothes for my niece and nephew and there - between carefully folded piles of cloaks and elbow length evening gloves, my mother's old silver handbags, and own children's long-grown out of superhero costumes - there was the ring, my boomerang ring. It always comes back.
