A Lovely Sunday

A long walk in the Arboretum this morning - a good hour with plenty of elevation change. Followed by an afternoon with the grandchildren. It was warm enough today (90F/32C) to spend a good chunk of time in my co-grandmother's pool. We're acclimating the little one - just shy of 3 - to the water. He's been frightened in the past but seems to be enjoying himself. What precious days these are! 

Another stunning dahlia from the garden - this one is 'Crazy Love'...a most fitting name, eh?
