A bit of rain this morning but it actually cleared up this afternoon and the sun put in an appearance, so did the blue sky!   Good to see some hay bales still around and even better to have Skiddaw in the background.  Lots of gardening done this afternoon, pruning and weeding.  I lost count of how many times I got stung by stinging nettles :(   My neighbour's birthday today and she very kindly brought me over a piece of home made birthday cake.  It was very delicious.
