After hours

I did very little all day before heading to the Strand to meet M & R at the hotel they are staying in overnight. We haven't seen each other since before lockdown and this was their first night in London since.
A few beers and some (terrible) food in the hotel bar and lots of chat as much to catch up on.
Home much later than expected.
