Sarria
Back blipping
We walked up to the barrio of Sarrià this afternoon after what started with Bb changing a light bulb on the patio turned into a big tidy up out there, which took a good couple of hours. The light bulb that needed changed was actually in behind all our big marquesa plants and so when he was in there, I thought he might as well cut back a few stalks....and it went on from there!
The shot is looking up Major de Sarrià. You'll see that most places are shut, which is still quite common here for the smaller family run shops on a Saturday afternoon. Before buying out house here, we lived in a flat there for 5 years and we go back quite often for a wander and in pre-Covid days, for dinner in Casa Joana. They've decided it's not worth their while opening again yet as they don't have a terrace and very few people are eating inside. We miss it and their espinaca a la crema dish.
I've put an extra one of us as an extra, just for our records.
