Wetlands Walk

This afternoon 9-year-old daughter and I went for a walk while Mom took a nap. Her house backs up to a protected greenspace with a natural wetlands. The rain held off long enough for a nice walk. And it was a really nice time to spend with daughter talking about nothing in particular and completely connecting.

Didn't realize you could see Mom's house from this part of trail until I saw this photo. Her house is the cream with burganday trim in the background.
