Sea Shell Desk Lamp

My Grandparents were snowbirds back in the late 1940's.

I grew up with a small desk lamp made from a block of "Lucite" they gave to my parents before my birth.

Embedded in this lamp is an undersea diorama with sand, shells, a starfish, coral, kelp, and three sea horses.

All this in a 6 X 10 inch block that is softly illuminated from the bottom thus low-lighting the elements in the underwater scene.

This lamp continues to provide undersea adventures for me.

Another day I'll blip the sea horses.
