Heading out
Another magnificent sunrise across Kawau Bay, which I was able to see because we stayed an unexpected extra night after a late cancellation of the first appointment meant we could drive back this morning.
The boatie (who can be seen under the awning, especially in large) is about to head out into the bay for a spot of fishing. Three rods may mean he was waiting for a companion or two. The tide was just short of being fully in, and then it also would be heading out.
Meanwhile the sun is starting its climb into the sky, emerging from behind Kawau Island and going behind some of the few clouds about this morning. A gentle breeze is producing just visible ripples in the water.
After a view like this, I didn't even mind (too much) having to attend Court at the end of the day to give answers that might help the Court decide custody and access questions.
Time now to cook the lamb burgers (bought rather than made as did gpzero)
