Apple for the teacher

I couldn't help chuckling to myself when I spotted an apple on my (oh so ancient!) attendance book. I didn't know schools these days still kept paper attendance records - so quaint; so antiquated!

The fact that I had put the apple there myself was of no importance.

It gave me a giggle after the shock of the fact that I should have to keep up with my attendance book. I'm so rubbish at that sort of a thing.

I think I'll just sit here, eat my apple and contemplate it. Maybe then it'll go away ...

I can but hope.
