Bee rescue

After a late start, a 'pottering' sort of day! Couldn't resist picking a piece of loose wallpaper off the wall in the hall as I was passing, and ended up spending the next hour or so stripping wallpaper. Didn't get very far - whoever decorated most of this flat in wood chip wallpaper and several layers of magnolia paint needs shooting! It's an absolute nightmare to get off...

Spent a while this afternoon trying to help this bee, after noticing it stationery in a rose flower. It took a little sugar water, and moved around a bit, but didn't fly off as hoped. Mentioned it to MrM, who had apparently put it on the flower after finding it in the workshop yesterday. It's still there, so maybe it's injured in some way :-( .

Need to practise macro photography - rather disappointed with this one, to say the least!
