Hive visitor

A morning walk with eco mum and dogs in local park.

Picked up bee food for the winter prep. Good catch up with bee keepers.

Out to out apiary. Treatment and feed for the hives.

Was tough the bees were hungry tge last couple of weeks of mixed weather taken its toll.

Hopefully can get back on track for winter with regular feeding. Not much honey for me but that is life.

A few stings today mostly my fault. Probably 6 hives ok and the rest will need to be monitored.

Tea and chat with the laird.

Homeward bound then realised I had left my jacket so a u turn.

Quiet night with a food shop.

Lots of butterflies around the hives today looking for winter sites.
