An afternoon music session

This afternoon I went to Shrewsbury for a garden music session with some local musicians.  We played music from England, Wales, Scotland, USA and Italy and probably some that countries that I've forgotten.

This is R playing his melodeon, he plays it with the end plate taken off so it's interesting to see the reeds moving as he plays the notes.  He's a very clever man, he makes melodeons to sell as well as repairing them and is an expert in playing folk, Cajun and Zydeco music (explanation here).

It was a lovely afternoon of music making and even the sun shone for us!
