Max's birthday

Today was my nephew Max's 11th birthday. My sister hired a big bounch castle for their garden and had us over, we all had such a lot of fun.

John did bedtime tonight and I had a lovely long walk with Pickle. We were out for an hour and a half and he would have gone longer if I'd let him, I'd have loved to as well but I know he would ache in the morning so we slowly walked back. He is a precious dog.

I swam at the lake this morning but after missing last weekend I struggled. My mind was in the wrong place and I had eaten rubbish food last night and didnt have much energy. I forced myself to go, but only managed a loop. The temperature has dropped to 17 degrees and it felt cold. I'm determined to do better next week.
