Mini Mammoth makes the most .....

... of the end of the summer holidays! 

Peeps! 

P and I were walking into a westerly wind when, who should we spy but Mini Mammoth, Mummy Mammoth (and her Mojito) and in the distance coming over the Massive Mountain, none other than Mike the Mammoth! 

Who are these monsters you may be asking ( and why not? ) they have not featured in previous posts. 

The reason, my friends, is clear, until very recently they were extinct! It is only because Mel Ashcroft of Olivia fame has brought these animals back to life for us that we are able to see them. They are now to be seen on the wall of West Runton Beach Cafe if you care to see more. 

I also notice that the cormorants were drying out their wings  - I am wondering if there might be an airshow soon.....

As you can see it is all go here as the dregs of summer are devoured (unless, as many of you suggest, there is an Indian summer of course) and teachers and children return to school in odd times.
