Necessary Water Feature

Mainly a work day; but we took the opportunity for a walk into the town centre where the Dolphin Gallery were doing their own version of "Art Week" showing local artists.

We liked this rustic birdbath, which has a practical purpose as well as bringing some interest to the garden.  

Since we lost the original BentleyTBear (almost a year ago) we have suffered from the local wildlife invading our garden.  This included blackbirds digging up the pot plants for their moisture (Extra Photo).  We have been making do with an upturned frisbee to cater for their needs.  This is a great improvement.

Now we just have to figure out a way to stop that squirrel from digging up the lawn!
