Clerodendron Trichotomum

This lovely waxy flower is found on the Clerodendron Trichotomum, otherwise known as the Harlequin Glory Bower. We have one of these shrubs growing near our front gates. It flowers in the late Summer and its fragrance is unforgettable...very strong and similar to Jasmine. A small flowering sprig can perfume quite a large room. I love it in its many stages of flowering and then when it develops purple berries in Winter.
